What's the best way to track a network of sites (re: stats, traffic, etc?)

I am using google analytics but it is taking a LONG time to put the code on each one.

    Thanks!

It might truly take some time but the results and the stats are worth it.

I have over 1000 sites all have google analytics, I set this up using a script.
The script creates an include for all the sites, and writes the unique analytics code to each file.

I suggest going to google analytics and creating the site accounts manually all at once, then copy paste the data into a text or excel file and use that with a script to create the files.

Look at it this way, once your done its done for good! :)

I also have awstats and webalizer installed on the server to compare data.

Just get the direct link to all your stat pages on one html page. Open that html page from your computer(or make it your homepage) and bam, 1 click to each sites stats.
