Best way to track channels

What is considered best practice to track channel data? Is it using Googles or some third party product?

 

For security reasons I would advise that you use googles tracking data. You don't want A shady webmaster to have access to your adsense results.

 

Google channel data provides realtime updates now. It is the best to avoid any problems with TOS.
