I dont think its necessary. Its search engines's job find websites.

 

submitting to search engines will not really do you any good. your site will be indexed anyways sooner or later as search engines find your links by following backlinks. it is the backlinks that you need to focus on

 

create a single site map on a page. Then submit that page by linking to it from pages that are already crawled. You do not want to submit your urls... you want the search engines to "fine" you. And if you do this they will.

 

It's best not to submit to Google. She likes it better when she finds sites all by herself via other related links. I think it goes for most of the search engines too. If you just get some good inbound links most engines will spider and add the sites.

Are you saying you have 400 sites that need to get indexed???

 

There is no need to do that, just get some backlink and wait Google index your site.

 

You don't have to submit your site to search engines, just build couple of back links and write some posts, and search engines will find you.
