Hello everyone, I recently finished work on my new image host http://simpleimg.com and now I'm left wondering how would be the best way to market/promote it? I was thinking about submitting it to some free directories and stuff, but I just dont see that doing much. What about buying/trading links with other sites? and if this is a good method, whats the best type of site to do it with? Any help is appreciated! Thanks!
Have you tried going after the organic traffic like "free image host" and what not ? Its somewhat of a long term strategy, but the best out there.
My advice is to take advantage of social networking sites like MySpace. Browse around them and think of an action plan, with any luck you'll come up with something.
