Best way to Spend $300 for instant targeted traffic?

Hello everyone. I'd like to know you guys suggestions on the best way to spend $300 to get some instant, targeted traffic.. If It helps at all It'd be in the weight loss niche.

I do not want to use PPC, as it's really not profitable for my situation. I need something where I can spend $300 and get a load of traffic (if possible?) Any suggestions are welcome.. Even using a bot if that's what you suggest (I understand a bot would not be as instant as say, just paying for a banner, but thats ok)..

Other things that crossed my mind were getting a paid banner for a certain amount of time on a forum, using a big ad network for displaying my banner on sites, a joint venture email blast(s) etc

And with your suggestion, how many visitors do you think I could get with the $300 ( a ROUGH estimate of course...)

Thanks in advance for your help

I have tried adwords, i just lost my money and no business. I would rather purchase AD spot for that $300 if possible.

I would invest the money in link building. However, that doesn't bring instant traffic.

yes, there is too much competition there especially with Google giving away $100 vouchers for new accounts

Hi, my niche is very different from yours, but I have found the best way for me to get instant traffic is to find really active forums and get involved in the discussion and put you link in with an answer to suitable questions. If the forum is being visited by loads of people then loads of people will click through your link. I am not sure if there are some really good forums out there for your niche but it is really worth a look. The idea is to be helpful and not spammy.

OK just did a quick google, I live in Australia so my first result was http://www.weightloss.com.au/forum/
there are 9197 members and the most users on line at one time was 150. I hope this helps a bit.

It is probably not as effective as you make it out to be...yes, I get a few hits here and there as you have mentioned, but nothing serious
enough that you can live on that traffic, its comes and goes very little at a time, and it is very time consuming. I think if you attempt
to live off this, then you could be in a rough patch, and maybe creating posts for the rest of your life if you are waiting for others to read your post.
I am not saying you will not get visitors, but you will not get steady traffic as you are thinking about, and of course it can depend what you are offering.

You can also try Stumble or Facebook ads. If you have a blog or article that people enjoy in your nice, the better odds of a thumbs up on Stumble and more traffic to your site.

Some diverse SEO would be your best bang for the buck. Articles including Press Release with videos and authority backlinks. Review on product post to blog. 3 other articles on different blogs backlinked to review site blog and money site. Create video for review site and post. make 3 other videos for article blogs. Submit all videos to all video sites. Then social bookmark the crap out of all blogs and video sites. Then give authority back links with edu/gov/org to your 3 article blogs.

I agree with Jo 1977 go with google adwords, but before you do this you might want to research the keywords you want to use and how much per click your willing to spend.
