best way to sell websites, quickly or wait for them to profit then sell?

hello I'm going to be selling websites soon however I'm just debating on what the best way is to sell them. Would it be better to make good uncompetitive seo keyword adsense websites and then sell them straight away for say $200 for arguments sake or develop them for a few months, generate backlinks etc to generate profit from them and then sell it for $1000 so it would have to be making about $100 a month. If you make quick ones they are quick to make and you can get quick cash and people are more likely to spend $200 rather than $1000 but it will take about 5 websites to equal the amount for one profit website which will probably be more work and could become tedious.

However with the profit ones the work becomes a bit easier after it is made, just making backlinks but that cant guarantee top on google and may not even result in $100 a month to sell for $1000 so in reality it may not even make any money so the extra work will be worth nothing aside from its original $200 which would be a waste of time. It can also take a while for the website to generate money and appear in google. However with the profit ones you could easily work on ten at the same time and in a few months sell them all for $10 000.

So what would you do? make loads of quick ones or develop them into bigger money machines and sell them for more.

Well, you make it sound very easy to have a site making $100 per month, but that isn't reality. Every person would be different. If you can make a basic crappy site, and sell it for $200, then I would say keep doing that. If you run out of customers, then switch over to trying to sell higher end sites that have established traffic/backlinks etc.

Hi thanks yea I was thinking about the 1k ones and figured that will be far to difficult and am going to focus on selling crappy ones for 200. 100 usd a month will take a lot of work if it is even possible for such a small site it will be nearly impossible to do in a few months.

IMHO, selling brand new websites (basically a "turnkey" website) is not worth the trouble. And if you can get $200 out of one with no income, I'd be surprised. Heck, if you could consistently sell them for $100 I'd be pretty surprised.

Then consider your selling fees for each and every site and it's not that profitable.

I think it's best to create a website, make profit from it and then sell it. That is, if you still want to. Not only will you have earned from that site which you built yourself (earning from it means you have gotten back the initial cost of putting the site up) but you could sell it off for a higher price because by the time that site is earning, it would have gotten page rank, backlinks and all that. Of course, it's hard to let go if it's already earning you a steady income.

My two cents. Have a good day!

    Hi,

Domain Investments is something new and popular in the internet market. if you have a good domain name, you dont need to do anything with the site. the name itself will sell and give you profit. as now a days its very hard to get good domain names because when you search, you will find that the domain is already booked. if you dont have a good name and you still want to make profit then the domain traffic, links and PR takes place. you ofcourse need to do SEO with your sites, make the site ranking and getting traffic and sellout. dont sell the domain in just $100 or $200 (such low prices) because the same will earn you thousand if you do proper SEO with it. SEO just require hard work and less money so always go for it....
