Best way to sell video online?

I'm trying to figure out the simplest way to sell videos on my website. The videos aren't massive or any thing 7-10 minutes maybe about 100-200mb. I've found a bunch of file storing/payment processing sites for ebooks but nothing for video. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

 

Videos are there to promote things or for entertainment purposes.

If you make them to promote stuff then you earn $$ for sales from stuff you promoted.

If you make them for entertainment purposes then you aint earning $$.

If you want to SELL videos then you should offer your services and make videos for money.

Also check freelancer sites, there are people that pay for videos you'll make for them.

 

I use youtube to promote and bring traffic to my site. I also want to look at selling some of my longer videos.

video files are just files, so any file managing/selling system should work as well with video files. What is the problem exactly?

Is it something like you want to create videos for money ? A video about website, commercial video, some product review ?

If so, check out freelancer sites or post your services on this forum.

 

Videos need either to be custom made to be sold or to have a target audience so they can be distributed . There is no other way AFAIK

 

The only site I know of is e-junkie. I would like to have a place where I can host 10-20 videos and easily host/distribute at a decent price.

 

Can you post some more info please..so we can think of a better solution for you.
As i understand it, a maybe solution would be:
Make short effective trailers of the video's you want to sell, with a description and price. Host the trailers on youtube or vimeo for free. Embed the trailer-code to your site.

Thanks for the reply. I'm not too worried about promoting the videos right now. My concern is an effective way to handle the transactions and send out the video files.

 

upload video in youtube and other video site with title, " this video for sell " will help you out.

Any genre can be uploaded to Youtube. I have a website to promote the videos and a hard drive to save them on. Storing them is not an issue. Finding a service that only allows people to get my video after paying for it is what I'm looking for.
