Best way to sell a Business?

I was wondering if you guys and girls would be good enough to enlighten me to the best path for selling a business.

I am not looking to just sell a domain with content, this is a viable e-commerce business that has been running for 4yrs on the internet, so I feel it is more than just a website.

If I could have a few simple pointers as to where to look I would be most grateful as nothing I find on a search is hitting the spot at the moment.

    Thanks for your time.

    Sarah.

Thank you, just gone and had a look at that site ta!

Second question! How do I begin to work up a valuation for it? I have done the variouse "Website worth" sites but these do not take into account the monthy turnover etc into these fiqures. Is there a rough rule of thumb like "?? x monthly turnover/proffit = cost of site"?

    Thanks

As an idea with just any business, count a yearly profit average and see how much time a potential buyer will need to return his money. That works exactly the same way as for a regular business.
