I was wondering if you guys and girls would be good enough to enlighten me to the best path for selling a business. I am not looking to just sell a domain with content, this is a viable e-commerce business that has been running for 4yrs on the internet, so I feel it is more than just a website. I have done the variouse "Website worth" sites but these do not take into account the monthy turnover etc into these fiqures. Is there a rough rule of thumb like "?? x monthly turnover/proffit = cost of site"? Thanks
As an idea with just any business, count a yearly profit average and see how much time a potential buyer will need to return his money. That works exactly the same way as for a regular business.
