The best way to research keywords is to actually see what people are searching for. This is actually can be done by getting people to install your toolbar. I didn't do it, but I have access to just such a list of Google searches. Some of the funnier searches: Check it out: http://hotfile.com/dl/7750144/83a114b/GOOGLE-SEARCHES-2009-06-29-n0.txt.html
Unless your toolbar gets extremely wide coverage, the stats would be quite meaningless. You would just have a bunch of random search strings. It would not be representative of what other people search for. You might as well just use keyword research software. Some software gets stats from existing wide spread toolbars.
I wish I could get my own toolbar installed on a bunch of peoples computers to see what they were searching. I bet I could find a bunch of extremely profitable niches that I never knew existed that way
Hi, Big guy Google provide us with good free tool for keyword research. Just utilize it fully and u won't be disappointed. Other keyword tools also can be used but be ready with dollars. Have a look at this very cheap keyword research service. Who knows it will help u? Cheers.
A keyword tool is vital unless you have wide coverage. It would be very useful in finding keywords to research - it could well give you ideas for keywords you would never have thought of, but for actual figures it is the keyword tools that are far more vital imo
Hello Friend, Keywords are most important to index your site in Google. People have strong believe in Google , you can select your keywords by the https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal and you can also select the keywords from http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com/ .
Based on my experience, Keyword Elite gives me the best results, I suggest you better try it too, it's really useful and reliable.
Does anyone have an opinion on the keyword tool provided with WebCeo? I would have thought that the best tool would be the one with the highest sample data available...ie getting results from the most places. I have done some small experiments comparing KEI results for WebCeo, Wordtracker and Google and found that if you take the same sample of keywords, put them through each of the tools and calculate the KEI and then rank them in order of KEI you get a different order of rank for each method. Worrying huh. I would be interested to know if there is a preference for a particular tool based on science.
