    Hi all,

The website i am currently working on is indexed as number 1 on a chosen keyword. But now they have change the domain and want the new domain to be listed as number 1. Both domainnames co-exist the last 4 weeks but still the old domain name is indexed as number 1.

    What should/can i do?

    regards

Try to redirect the old domain to the new domain.

Make sure you use a 301 redirect to transfer the link juice.

I always thought 301 redirect was the best way to do this, if you find a better
way please share it with us.

...yes, 301 redirect is the best for it. I dont think there is any other way around to transfer all the link juice to the new site.

Do a 301 redirect from old domain to the new one.

301 redirect works for google serp, but you must also consider your links to old site must updated to be # 1
