Best way to rank my Articles

    Hi all

So recently I have been writing some articles, and posting them to the biggest article websites (after spinning them of course). So I was wondering, what's the best way to get these articles boosted, so that the backlinks back to my website are worth as much as they can be? I don't want to spend loads of time building backlinks to them when I could be building them to my website instead.

Should I post them to social bookmarking websites etc? Or just build a few related backlinks from blog commenting etc?

    Thanks a lot.

I would use quantity over quality approach here. The fact of the matter is that you do not really own the article, the article directory admin can delete it or shut down the site, so i do not think it's worth investing your time in those articles and i would buy some directory submission or blog commenting for $15 or so, here at BTS.

I would agree to a little bit of everything. Although the articles could come down, so its probably best to have a blog or something of that sort where the article is also posted and link to it as well. Otherwise unless your content is spammy I wouldn't worry about it being brought down. Especially if its getting traffic, more traffic for you means more for the website.

Social bookmarking and profiling are good choices yeah. So is backtracking with blogs. Just dont get all spammy and you will be fine. Sometimes just a little bit of work will add a lot of influence to your article.

I normally spend about 90% of my efforts creating back-links to the article on my site itself, and then the other 10% of time spent towards creatign soem back links to my articles. As mentioned above, if the article site is not well established I generally avoid, incase the site is taken offline or something.

Promote your article at your niche related forums, on that way you will get targeted visitors.

Submit the articles to regular article directories and then throw a few social bookmarks at them. That will give them enough juice to make the link to your site more powerful. Don't bother wasting your time getting the article to rank.
