I see a lot of people on my news feed sharing pictures because the page promises they will be entered for a prize. For example, one Facebook page had a picture of an iPad and website name. Then in the caption it said: Share and be entered into winning the iPad! and like 140 thousand people had shared it. Would facebook ban you for something like this? I would like to promote my website to a mass audience.
I can't say for sure you will not be banned...but this is a very common tactic that even big companies use. Facebook is putting out a new timeline appearance for Fanbook pages on March 30th. Make sure the cover image is not a coupon or includes an address. There are a number of rules the cover image must follow. good luck
Yes, I agree with sylviaunlimited. Facebook timeline is a great way to attract people to become fans. Focus on your design and give your fans the real benefit. Win the ipad I don't think people will believe it, it's better to give the coupon or some small gifts
Dear bijaybd, First of all you need a facebook page with a default apps with design only, this is what we can "Facebook page promotion via apps". TO INCREASE LIKES The best way to increase facebook likes is to start contest, a campaign that rewards (reward could be tangible or intangible). OR through Media Buy There are services that provide facebook fans and likes in economical costs like getsocialapps etc. Email marketing, daily posts and facebook ads can be very helpful too. TO ADD AN APP IN YOUR FAN PAGE FOR FREE There are free online services available on the web that help you to select different templates from the catalogue and help in setting facebook fan gate for your page, so that you can ask users to click like first to get into page within few clicks. Best service i experienced yet is TABPRESS. Just search it in google and you will find it. For those who are looking for a third party solution should look at *all* the reputable solutions available right now, including (but not limited to): Lujure, Wildfire, ShortStack and TabPress. Lujure's developer, Nathan Latka is a proven developer in the community. Likewise, Tim Ware, the developer of TabPress is known throughout the Facebook development community as a trusted source for all things related to Facebook development and design. TabPress is my personal favorite for the moment, and I have referred a few developer friends that way. They have not been disappointed.
