Best Way To Promote My Internet Marketing Forum

    I recently bought this Internet Marketing forum off someone, and I think it has potential. I wont reveal the URL due to spam but..two questions..

    1 - Whats the best way I can drive lots of traffic to this forum?

    2 - Do you think its a good branding tool?

    That forum looks a lot like DP actually :D

    I would suggestion getting involved in a lot of forums related to yours, insert your signature link and a description of the forum, people will come naturally. Use the anchor text for what you want to rank for in the search engines. Maybe try some link exchanges with a load page.

    I would like to think you can do well . but the site is vanilla install of vbulletin with a logo?
    Also very hard to compete with DP!

    Signature links on related forums is definitely something you should start with.

    You could also approach some high ranking blogs related to webmaster topics and see if they would be willing to blog about your site, and if they wont, contact them again and offer them cash. Just keep at it none stop and it will pay off in the end.
