    add it to a bunch of social bookmarking sites but make sure you build a community around it adding lots of people and interacting with other members to gain your popularity on that site. Make sure you put social bookmark buttons on every post on your blog try out www(dot)addthis(dot)com its extremely easy and best of all free.

    It's been said one of the best way to promote blog/website is social bookmarking.

    You Post Quality Content and users who read and bump into your site will social network and share themselves. I find Twitter is a great thing for Blogs as It has helped me make drive tons of traffic to my blog.

    Write lots of articles and submit them to article directories and social news submission sites. Do thius roughly 2-3 times a day for an entire year and you'll never have to worry about a day job again =)

    Yes, twitter is a great source to increase visitors but conversion is somehow less.
