What is the best way to promote a blog. I decided not to count article marketing because why would you want to post your good content to ezine and not in your blog. The ones that I can think of is video marketing and having your link on other high PR blogs.
One example i have is posting to squidoo/blogspot etc.. For example - take http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heysel_Stadium_Disaster Take a look at the end and youll see "Heysel Disaster" - http://heysel-stadium-disaster.blogspot.com/ And with that links to my blog.... So that said.. I could post "static content" like that on my site.. But my site is more of a blog -weblog/news so its in my interest to drum up traffic outside of that... So i understand when you say about your good content to ezine.. but its not the only option.. I havent spent too much time throwing anything into ezine.. but believe other sites like squidoo etc will work for you...
Social bookmarking and social networking. Join facebook and create a page for your site. Then have your rss feed in it so that everytime you updated your site your facebook page is also updated. Another one is twitter.
