Hello, I notice some websites have pr well spread over their internal pages; for example, main page pr2, then many many pages pr1 and some pr0. For some reason, my site has about 70 indexed pages; it is pr2, but I have only 5 pr1 pages and 5 pr0 pages, and I do not even know why they were chosen. Also I have a navigation bar site wide for about 25 pages Are there any tricks to pass pr internally. I use relative addresses xxx/dir/url.htmxxx and not xxxhttp://www.site.com/dir/url.htmxxx Is it ok Thank you very much
Everything depends on quality buddy . May be those pages are seen as unique content by Google system and you got pr on them . I have seen many blog which contains good pr in inner posts also , Reason may be those posts attract more visitors and got good backlinks .
It is not a question of back links as most my back links are toward my main page. It is I think a question of internal juice passing. It is not related to content either.
For the new site its always like this only, will take some more months to get stabled and unique PR for all the indexed pages. So if need PR quickly on internal pages too make quality links for it
I have been frustrated this PR update. Whilst WebMaster Tools states that all of my pages within 2 sites I optimise have Medium - Low PageRank, the Google Toolbar has not displayed such results. In both cases, the home pages have PR4 and PR5, but internal pages remain at no PR. Anybody got any thoughts on this? Before you say it depends on the length of time the site has been around, one is 6 years old and has had PR5 for at least the last 2 updates!
ok, I probably got that, you mean old pages; as there are more likely to be indexed. Yes, ok thank you.
