It seems like most of my pages are indexed by google, but it seems like i am really far down the list as far as results. I am not sure where to go from here, I know that you need quality backlinks to move up, but I can't seem to get any. Any advice would be appreciated.

I think you need to sign up with Google anaylics and give it a few days. It could be poor SEO on your part. Also you have to look at the competition related to your keywords of choice.

Thank your very much for advice, i was unaware that i should have only one meta description, now that i see what exactly it does it makes more sense. Can you tell me what the google keyword tool would be used for then? I know that you tells you the search volume on keywords and such, but where does that go on each page?

I think that I have fix most of my problems, I removed the multiple meta descriptions entries and only put one descriptive entry for each page. I also changed the page titles to integrate keywords that have a low to medium advertiser competition and have a search volume of 1000 or less per month. I hope that this helps, I also hope that I don't get punished by Google for changing my page titles, I don't think that I will, but you never know. I also submitted my pages from when my site was redesigned to google for removal. Let me know what everyone thinks! Thanks again for all of your help.

Focus to get quality and relevant backlinks (.edu and .gov). They will give more importance to your site.

you have stuffed up your website (blog) with multiple h1 tags, infact you have 3 h1 tags with a space, second you have no meta keywords, third you keyword phrase in the title is a 7 word keyword phrase... very very long tail and will never be searched on, finally shoving google adwords at the top is a way to annoy people.. do install some analytic software so you at the very least you understand who your visitors are and how they found you
