I am considering developing radicalshare.com into a video sharing site. Considering the fact that people will probably upload some 'questionable' vids (don't they always?) what's the best way to monetize? Adsense would be risky at best, and I don't want to jeopardize my other money making sites. So what's the way to go? Also, how's the domain name? I have a couple other options. Scott
You could go with AVNAds.com - they're the adult version of AdBrite. The domain is OK - very generic. You could build a site for sharing almost anything under it. Video sharing is a bit overdone by now, and there are some large adult sharing sites on top of all the mainstream ones. I'd go for something else personally.
If you are considering to develop an adult site, then it's easy - there are tons of adult affiliate networks and advertising programs. If it's non-adult, then it might be a little trickier to maintain and it would maybe be wiser to first promote the site for a bit until it gains popularity and then search for individual/independent advertisers etc.
if you want to host your videos on your own server then check the site reelseo.com . They have plenty of methods for video search engine optimization..
