    Hi all.

I have some parked domains (with sedo) and last night i was looking for some free link directorys that accept parked pages so i could have some incoming links to them.

I did find some but they all say the same thing :

"To validate the reciprocal link please include the following HTML code in the page at the URL specified above, before submitting this form"

I dont understand where this link should go..Is it into the source code (html)of the parked page??? If so, how will it work as with parked pages you cant save any changes to the html code..

Im really lost with this. Also when i was looking on the free link directories i seen another sedo members parked pages, so it can be done. but how is he doing it.

    Does anyone know?

Cant contact him either as sedo doesnt show any contact details.unless his Domain is in auction (which it isnt)

    Hi,

We built our own parking script for some of our sites and it's working really well - so we decided to package it up so other people can use it. See an example at : www.convertyourtone.com

The script integrates articles, videos, google adsense, amazon, ebay abd clickbank for revenue generation - all generated automatically be a list of keywords you specify in the config.

The script also sources keyword rich articles - rewrites them to avoid duplicate content and posts them into the scripts' blog. It then automatically sends out the content to social bookmarking sites to help generate backlinks. There is zero maintenance unless you feel you want to post into the blog yourself - in which case there's a powerful blogging engine behind the whole thing - totally awesome!

We haven't worked out how to market our script yet - so get in touch so we can judge the demand for it and help us work out what kind of deal you guys need to make it worth while to use it.

We have a hosting capability and a team of techies so we can do the full setup and support for you - you just need to point your domains to us.

Looking forward to hearing from you!!!

    Adam

    Well......

I can only speak from my experience - although I tried Sedo, Parked, Namedrive, etc.

Here's what I did, and where it's at now. A very similar situation as yours.

I have 305 "Telepresence" related domain names - List

I developed 3 of them fully, and parked the rest until I sell them.

I tried damn near every parking company out there with little or no results to speak of.

Then I made a $100 one-time buy at Whypark for 100 domain names

My 270 combined Whypark domains now do better than $20 a day (and climbing) between my different ad companies (many baskets for my eggs, not just one). This is all in just the last few months because I only signed on to Whypark in April/May.

Whypark allows linking to your site, they generate a site-map for every site, provide relevant articles, provide a sale page, allow custom html and java code, allow special text links and custom articles, host all your sites and have many different layouts. All for a one time $1 a domain! Check out this Whypark site - Go Telepresence. That doesn't look like a "parked page" at all, does it?

I'm sure I'm missing a lot more positive items too.

All the domains on the list link above are hosted at Whypark.

It's been the best thing I have ever done in the domaining business! Ever.

    Good luck!

Parked is a good company. There's also a forum called DNforums that's all about Domain Monetization. You might want to check that out.

Parked dot com and Fabulous dot com (esp. for gaming) are two of the best IMO

A way to redirect traffic to your main site while having the advantage of recieving profits through PPA., PPC etc is using whypark's service. They charge 99bucks (one time fee)to host 100 domains with content rich and very real websites that appear in google search engines once you submit them.

you could keep on redirecting them to the main site with such large volumes of traffic..(traffic is good) but having real pages that visitors can click is far better. You could host 100 domains that all have a single/multi page layout and just focus on redirection by only putting your own article on there.

    Enough spiel.
Just wanted to give you some advice that has worked for me

Check out whyparkforum.com and see what you think.

    Hope you figure something out.

Did you submit your sitemap file, set your keywords correctly and build your Title/Description tags?

Against TOS at Sedo, Parked, etc. to build ANY backlinks, even a single one.... you can only link to the "Sale Page" that Sedo shows, but there's no ads on that page...

I posted the letter I got from Sedo somewhere on this forum....
