All, I am developing a new app and the functionality of it actually costs me money!! It needs to be a free to use app and free to download, so the only way to recoup (hopefully plus a bit extra) is through adverts in app. I need to generate around $0.06 "per function". Which would mean I would have to have either a $60 pay per thousand impression or force a click every 10 functions with an average pay per click of $0.60. My questions are: 1. Are either of these options possible; 2. Is there any ad network which you can rely upon (i.e. not displaying ads which are below the required rate); and 3. Is it perfectly acceptable to "force a click" within an in-built browser (i.e. telling the user they have to view the website to continue). I would much prefer to simply display a banner at all times instead of the "forced click" option but I am guessing the $0.06 per impression requirement is not possible. "Niche of the app" isn't really a niche, it is telecommunications. First time dealing with advertisement so am quite ignorant except my research, but your input would be very welcome.
