I have been having some trouble monetizing a new site of mine. I have used Kontera, but it hasn't been paying very well. The site gets roughly 1000 uniques daily of mostly US traffic. Any ideas?
Apart from the obvious Adsense, I think it will be difficult to suggest anything unless we know the niche.
Thats a problem, I did have Adsense on it, but I got booted from the program for invalid clicks. That sucked since I never clicked on any of the ads myself. Oh well... The niche is Current News. It's a news site. It is aggregated on Google News. It's a difficult niche to monetize...
I think you answered your own question, try to look through some cpa networks to find an offer that fits the niche or dump it and move on.
I feel like I tried so many though, and can't find any good ones. I wasn't sure if there were any CPA networks that focus on Current News traffic.
Yeah that the common problem with adsense. Why don't you use your wife name to register with adsense? That pretty good to see that you have majority of US traffic, you can earn from CPM such as adbrite and ceoads that pay up to $3.6/CPM
T3leads is worth checking out. They provided their affiliates with a large amount of promotion tools that are constantly being reviewed and refresh in order to maximize performance. The only thing that you should be concerned about is the fact that T3leads does not show how much the conversion of each campaign is worth to the users. Bother them that you get paid every two weeks, which is helpful because most people want their money when they get it in their account. Hope this help.
I would join an affiliate site like linkshare and join programs which are related to you site's topic.
