Best way to market/advertise an advertising site?

    So i'm looking to setup a small website which advertises banners etc.

    What's the best way to market/develop/advertise such things?

    So obviously i want a flow of visitors so people will pay for advertisements.

    Any ideas please?

    in my view it depends on what sort of traffic you want!!!! may be google adsense

    From your description, I would think that you are trying to target webmasters, therefore the perfect place to advertise this for *free* is in your sig on this *webmaster* forum!

    Maybe you could try and attract someone in the BST forum to help get your site high into the search engines, thus bringing you lots of traffic?

    Look up Search Marketing here on DP, or Google it.
    What you will essentially do is bid for space with other advertisers on search engine result pages.

    So, if somebody enters the search term "advertising banners", you'd like to be listed in the right column for that search term.
    There is a little more to it than this, but you can make a very good living once you learn the ropes.
