    what are some of the best ways that have worked for you in marketing a site like this?

    How're you planning on making any money with it? It has no ads. If you haven't signed up for AdSense, I suggest you do that then grab a better proxy template than that. I'm not here to promote my site, but I guarantee you my templates are better than almost all of the free templates out there. The AdSense placement with mine will get you a much higher click-through-ratio percent. The link's in my sig. You should also put AdBrite on the proxified pages since you can't put AdSense on there.

    As for marketing, I've used a few newsletter services and they seemed to work out relatively well. I made my investment back so I think it was worth it. There aren't that many GOOD ways at proxy promotion. Don't waste your time with top-sites or MySpace bulletins. Stick with SEO. That's all I can think of for now.
