i would invest by buying existing websites and domains that have some sort of income.
from there you work on SEO on each of the sites boost income and then with the profits go buy more sites

 

What ever you good at, offer that as a service

I think you should follow your passion. If that is design, start moving in this direction right away and forget about everything else for the time being.
