I am a photographer/musician who is trying to offer their work for free but still be able to make money from my work. I have tried pay per download sites, and of course they are not big earners (especially the ones that aren't scams like hotfile and maybe Sharingmatrix). How would i use affiliate marketing to better make money while still offering free products to my fans? Maybe something involving advertising more? I am not sure. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Just use Google by using the term "make money online with photo" and you will see some affiliate sites where in you could sell your photos.
Thanks for the tips so far. I do not take photos that are stock-like. My photos have been turned down from stock sites because they are not stock, they are nature/landscape photos. I heard on one of them (maybe istock) that a photo of a hammer against a white background will sell better than a beautiful waterfall. Sharingmatrix offers to pay more than ziddu. I heard something about making people take quizes before they can download and I would get like 30 cents or more? That would work for the photos but maybe my music? I would like to be able to offer my stuff for free but still make some money to cover expenses (and even turn it into a career).
Thanks for the tip, but again I am not trying to sell my photos/songs. I would like to be able to offer (at least the photos) for free. Not too many people pay for photos anymore (especially landscape and nature) so I would like to make up for it with advertising revenue. Above when I mentioned the survey thingy, I believe it was CPALead that offered that, anyone have details or other suggestions?
I heard something about email attachments where you can make pretty good money per download? What is that and how does it work? Will it make life hell for those downloading my stuff?

Use http://adsense-script.co.cc to earn from adsense. It works similar to pay per download program but it is insert your adsense ads when u register with it.
