Best Way to Link build with a blog?

    Can anyone tell me the best way to build backlinks with a blog.I have only come across social bookmarking and maby a blog directory submitter.

    Could you not set up an RSS feed for all your latest entries? I have heard that many links can be established by using this method.

    I would also avoid any "automatic" tools because they are invariably not worth the hassle. Submit to a few quality blog directories, but do it manually.

    If your blog has excellent content you will find that people will automatically link to it. Make sure you keep updating the site regularly and in time you will see the results. If you want your blog to be a success, work hard on it and this will bring you the best results!

    Maybe you have to submit you blog to free submit directory.
    by the way if you content is good someone will post your blog (when they credit) to their website or forum.

    You also publish your blog with RSS ,it is the other way to promote

    just add some valuable articles to your blog.

    Submit some of your better articles to some blog carnivals. Not only will this get some backlinks, but will send some traffic your way and hopefully you gain readers. :D

    Ping and comment on blogs you wish to receive backlinks from.

    Make sure you have added those blogs to your blog roll before you do this though. Hopefully they will return the favour and add a link to your blog on their blog roll.

    And whatever you do, do not go spam crazy and start posting links to your own blog within the comments.

    Check out the link exchange forum too. Try and get relevant back links to your blog from blogs which discuss the same content as yourself. This isn't essential but relevant back links are more valuable than random ones.

    as others said..blogs are good, content is good.

    But whats especially good are things like "top lists" and blog-entries which make people bookmark then and share them.
