Would love it if someone can post up a tutorial or something on how to effectively learn (X)HTML? Thank you.

Preferably (X)HTML coding for vBulletin! Thanks.

Also try lissaexplains.com. It might be helpful if you don't understand certain things from W3Schools, but that is highly unlikely.

    I would say w3schools too
    but be careful with them
their code does not always work with all browsers (not thoroughly tested or old code)

w3schools.com is the best one to learn many things like html, xhtml, java script and many more. Its the best and some other tools also available.

I'd recommend tizag.com - they've got great tutorials on everything from HTML on up to CSS, PhP, MySQL, the whole shabang.

I came into that site with only the basics of html knowledge. When I left that site it was like Luke leaving Dagobah (and not the first time when he went to Cloud City, but like the 2nd time after Yoda died and stuff).

Whatever you do, the best way to learn is by DOING. Make yourself a test site and go nuts. Do do do... and read read read. Anytime you're stuck, hit up some forums and ask people. Don't be afraid to post your code, even if it sucks (and it will suck). There are thousands of really good web programmers out there who can and will help you. The one thing everyone has in common is that we've all been rookies at one time or another.

    Good luck!
