I'm a relative newbie to PPC and want to learn all I can. Can you suggest the best course, program, videos, ebooks, or whatever to learn about PPC? Thanks for your help.
You can pm me and I can point you to some free resources to learn ppc. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post links directly in the posts.
Chris, I'm assuming that you would choose PPC-COACH over Wealthy Affiliate? Can you tell me why? Thanks.
I am a member of both and I would definitely recommend PPC-coach for PPC training... It's what they do best!... in fact, it's all they do!
PPC Coach was the program that got me from losing money at PPC to earning some good cash. It's $49.95 CAN which comes out to about $42 US. I was able to earn my first year's payments back in the first 6 weeks. It's definitely worth it.
I have used both.. ppc-coach had the personal touch (coaching) to it while wealthy affiliate was more of a self training program.. don't get me wrong - both are great programs, I just like ppc-coach better
I don't use Adwords except to test to see what type of traffic is available to build a webpage off of. The best PPC search engine I've used that delivers amazing results is 7 search. You can write long banners, 190 characters worth, not just a few fragments. And their clicks are cheap. You're still paying less than a dollar. For a competitive niche like "work from home", you pay an average of $.48 and that's for first place bid. When you join you have to pre-pay at least $25. Trust me, you will get traffic. I got at least 5 people to sign up to my list from 7 search. You're not allowed to spend more than $100 a week unless you sign a letter saying it's okay for them to charge you more. They want a copy of your driver's license, etc. It's for security reasons so people don't fraud your account. But you'll get traffic easily with just $25. And unlike Adwords, you don't have to worry about quality score. 7 Search so easy to use. When it comes to PPC, you've got to do a lot of tweaking and testing. If you're getting clicks and no buyers, it means your ad is good but your landing page copy is not so good. If you're getting no clicks at all on your ad, you need to modify your ad. PPC is not that hard, but if you use Adwords, you might as well train how to do it because nowadays it's hard to get those low cost clicks like they used to be. If your quality score is poor, your costs go up.
