One of the best ways to learning HTML code is Practice.

Despite the title of many books, you cannot learn HTML in 24 hours. It takes time to drill in and become familiar with the code. When I started out learning HTML 6 years ago, I started by getting free templates that I liked, and modifying bits of them. By changing little bits of the templates, you can work out what the code does etc.

A good Program like Adobe Dreamweaver is the best platform to learn on.

Learning from ebooks could be difficult and time consuming.
I think training CD/DVD's is the fastest and the best way to learn.checkout Total Training and Lynda training CD/DVD.that way you can learn from best experts.

Practice and Patience! You'll need both. This is how I learned. I also designed a template in photoshop, a very simple one. Then I tryed to code it. I started from the background, and then from top to bottom. Worked like a charm.

Also, this is a good site.

    www.w3schools.com

    Good Luck.

Go to a site you like, right click, select view source (prefferably in firefox for highlighting) and read the code and look at the site. Save the page and open it up in a wysiwyg editor and see how they did it by looking at the visual display and code. Then search for "html tags" on the net and read that, so you'll learn the opening, most important body tags and closing tags. You will see what to use between the <body> </body> tag from the wysiwyg editor anyway. HTML is a piece of cake.

    Good luck.

To learn perfect HTML you must join classses which is for short term duration.
With continue of your class you need more practise at your home also.
This is the best way for you to learn HTML.

Learning HTML the easy way .
Get your self a program like dream weaver or an editor along them lines with a split view.
And as you build your webpage you can see the html being added. This is how I started out plus I went to evening classes. If your in the UK go to your local collage and see them some times they run free courses which is a bonus.

Don't buy Markup generation applications -- get the HTML-Kit Free Editor (also a great learning tool) and produce Professional quality, valid, HTML/XHTML/CSS/XML/PHP/JS/RDF -- by hand if you wish ala MS Notepad -- check syntax and "pretty-print" code using TIDY plug-in..

you don't need to attend classes to learn HTML or any web programming language for that matter.

I taught myself back in 1997. I found a really helpful web artist and she told me if you see a site you like just click view source to see how they do things.

Then I started downloading free templates and taking them apart.
I joined forums and just like you asked questions.
You can learn anything you want to if you make the effort to do so.
    Good luck!
