Is there any e-books or guides someone can suggest. I have never tried Adwords or any type of ppc program but really want to get into it. If anyone wants to mentor me that would be sweet!

Picked up a copy of the Super Affiliate Handbook by Rosalind Gardner. If you are Clickbank affiliate buy it from yourself. This is basically everything you need to know about making money as an affiliate marketer.

You can get a lot of good information for this forum. Just stayed focused and don't give up easy when one method does not work for you. Take others ppl's trial and errors or successes and improve on it.

At the moment, I've been trying to promote affiliate products through blogging.

As you know by now, blogging is an incredibly powerful way to get traffic, get loyal readers and not to forget to make money from affiliate products.

Don't be afraid to try any strategies. Once you get comfortable with one, master it and then try another.

Don't afraid to fail. That's my advise. Here has tons of good information to begin with but require you to implement and learn while doing.

    Cheers

StomperNet charges I believe a minimum of $800 a month, way out of reach for a lot of people and at that price, the information should be absolutely professional and top notch material.

However, their newsletter that they send out is written in the most awful, absolutely appalling use of english imaginable, which completely put me off using them, subscribing to them altogether.

After reading it part way through, the word, 'CON' was just leaping off the page at me. On the other hand, I have heard good reports about it first hand from other people, but that newsletter most certainly doesn't do it for me. It just pushed me in completely the opposite direction.

I run an affiliate program and one thing thats becoming more and
more popular is to have an affiliate manager that trains their affiliates.
If you're looking to use PPC for an affiliate program, contact that
affiliate manager and ask them what keywords you should be targeting
as well as how to get started using that method.

ALso, a buddy of mine - Russell Brunson is running a Live internet show
that trains you on affilaite marketing for free... you can check it out here:

It really helps if you can actually take a course from someone who has been successful with affiliate marketing. There are still some affordable ones.........

Many are membership sites but they are worth every penny. You have to know the basics first and get some kind of direction and strategy in place to be successful with this:)

My biggest suggestion is.....don't go it alone. Find a community to plug into and get your education first.;)

I would suggest begginers to start reading a lot, they don't need to signup to paid sites or buy e-books. Just read some info about affiliate marketing and how it works, how to drive traffic, how to convert it etc. etc. There are a lot of blogs where you can find this info for free.

Then start to experiment and find out what works for you.

You can start off by visiting the top internet marketing forums and do a search on relevant post. Google some information and you can get a very general idea. Are you looking for paid products? or do they have to be free? I'm giving out three videos from paid products for free.

I agree: read, read and again read. It's time consuming, but one can't achieve success without knowing basics. Figure out your niche, the method of affiliate marketing that would be the best for you, find forums and blogs closely related to your niche and chosen method and explore. Good luck!

Get your hands dirty and you will learn. Discover more in DP forum here. If you can't wait to use Adwords as your promotion tools. Be careful on your budget and do your own research because it is costly for an un-experience user.

Do not use PPC if you are still new to internet business.
