Can you give me some tips on how can I aproach the users to convince them buy a subscription? Sounds like a decent plan, I would look at the different ways of contact you have with your members. If you have a phone number, call them with skype and tell them about the deal, normal mail is also a good way. You are making sure they at least glance at it...
