I have two websites www.bigtimspawn.com and www.bigtimspawn.blogspot.com and I am using adwords and google local to get the word out. What are the most effective ways to increase this and any other ideas for a business. I am looking at a 10 mile radius of customers. Thanks for the help. If this is what you do for a living (marketing) let me know happy to pay for your work.

One thing I've done for a local restaurant is to set up an email list for them with weekly specials(not sure this is applicable to pawn industry) you also need to either help or encourage people to write reviews in Yelp and other online sources (again, not sure about your industry).

Like almost everything online, you need to have done great keyword research and start building links to rank for those selected keywords.

There are local newspapers that you can post your ad for free when they need to fill up adspace.

Have you tried facebook ads? They are much more targeted when compared to adwords. I'd suggest check out the vouchers section here, there are plenty facebook vouchers going cheap.

I am not sure if you could use Craigslist for your site that may be a good option.

Postcard marketing is also a good way to get some local clicks.
