Best way to improve PR of personal blog?

Hi,

I have a blog with arournd 200 posts and PR=2. My website PR is 3. Url of blog is like websiteURL/blog. Now I want to improve the PR of my blog. I am confused about the following issues:

1. Whether I should allow comments on my blog. If yes then should I allow backlinks in comments and what is the effect of this on PR of that page.
2. How can I direct the link juice or PR distribution towards the homepage. (My guess is by adding no-follow to all the internal links, except homepage.)

Hoping for the help from experienced SEO professionals.

 

1) If you make the link of comments nofollow, the pagerank of your blog will not changed and it will not juiced to external links. So if you want to allow commenting on your blog, make links nofollow.
2) Link to the home page of your website from your blog but this link should be dofollow that the pagerank of your home page to be increased.

Google was changed it. Does't matter if you'll make do follow or nofollow link. Each way will decrease a bit PR of your website.
