The biggest influencing factor in Quality score is your adverts CTR. There are several things you can do to improve this however, bidding higher and adding site link extensions will not increase your quality score as these are excluded from Googles algorithm. The best things you can do is make sure that your ads are as relevant as possible to your keywords, use negatives to block irrelevant searches. (you can also conduct theme analysis to find poor CTR queries to block using negatives). you should split test ads to find the highest performing ones. Focus on keywords with the highest amount of impressions first as these will hurt your historical quality score (account level quality score). Also don't forget there is quaility score based on mobile devices, so more sure the site is responsive and loads quickly on mobile devices
Hi - we've talked to the Google Reps about improving the quality score. It basically has to do with using your keyword in the title of the ad and making sure the landing page directs visitors to a page that is about that topic. More so on the keyword in the title of the ad. We've noticed that when we add the keyword in the title of the ad and make sure the rest of the ad is focused on that product only for the keyword we are targeting, that the quality score goes up. We've created multiple ads based on the keyword to see which one works the best for the quality score, but also in terms of results to A/B test them. That way, you will be able to split test the ads and see which gets a better quality score, but also which one works the best in terms of results.
Great, all of you have shared very good information here. Ad relevancy, Page quality and conversions also plays main role in quality scores. If your page is more convertible then it is easy for you to get best quality scores.
Do brainstorming, use good ad-words tools and think like a user and short list search queries which are most relevant to your product. And after short listing a keyword visit Google and do search with same keyword to view results, if results are not relevant to your product then remove that keyword from list. Regards,

Make sure your landing page is specific to the keyword you're targeting or that product/service. Write the ad to target that keyword. Also, be sure to check your keywords each week to see how people are finding your ad. Make sure to add negative keywords to the list, as needed.
Here are a few things I do to increase QS. - Move all QS Keywords less than 4 into a seperate adgroup - Start working on improving the QS 4 or less keywords - worry about the others later - Create new landing page, description, headline and content for low QS keywords - Dynamically insert keywords into page when user clicks on ad - Create some contextual links to the landing pages (this helps but needs a few weeks to kick in), yes SEO to a page helps elevate QS. Whatever google says is BS. Try it and let me know
