    Hey...

Im starting to implement directory submitting for my blog. I would like to know what you think is the best approach ? I started to submit one by one but, i seen services and software that submit them for you and saves me all the titties (i think i spelled that right) work. Do these services really submit you website to directories or is it a scam ? Also if any one uses Directory submitting software, what do you recommend ?

It depends what services you mean, some have outlandish claims, others are more realistic in what they offer.

Be very cautious with most directory submitting software and companies. Also, submitting your blog "one by one" is pretty good idea as you get to choose your sites. Directories are great (I have one btw) if you can get your site listed on the "homepage" without the nofollow attribute. Just my 50 cents:)

I wouldn't go with 'software' for submitting to directories. You can submit on your own or use a service where you can read the reviews first. (And yes, Mikey does have some excellent reviews).

If you want to avoid the tedious work of directory submission it's best to hire someone rather than using automatic software. But be careful: good outsourced services aren't necessarily cheap, and you should look for someone with plenty of recommendations.

You can find lots of reputed persons doing dir. submissions in services section, just remember to check their iTraders and reputation before having a deal :).

I have used DotComPals for 3 years now.
He provides reports via Google Docs too. Really nice setup Prashanth has.

If you are doing submissions yourself, then I would recommend this free form filler
