Hi, own a site that shows cooking recipes, want to migrate to wordpress, and make each recipe a post inside wp. Currently I have each recipe in an html file, aprox. 150k recipes.. what would you guys think would be the best way to import all the data into wordpress?

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

I think you need to migrate every recipe manually to wp. I dont think there is any automatic way to do this. but why you want to do this?

you can post via email... if you go to settings then writing it has the options to set it up. that might be a way to start. sounds like you need a script of some sort.

I'd write a script...this will take a long time to do manually.

I agree. There is no reason to do import all of the recipes all at once. You will have a steady stream of recipes to syndicate over a longer period of time.

Would set up the blog, then do them one at a time. Proofread them a little more, polish them up, add some photos, add in a back story etc. You could knock off several of them in a day and post-date them.
