I have articles and directory placements all with my inner pages links and yet those pages have not been indexed. Is there another way ?
Yes, creating a google sitemap will help. You can also see the bots visiting date so as to monitor the index frequency.
yes site maps do help but to be honest just google bots visit isint enough to get you page indexed you also need a good internal link structure in addition to good relevant inbound links from trusted sites. one of my sites takes about 5-6 hours for new pages to show up on google and the only reason is that I have very strong inlinks and the most important thing is that I dont buy temperary links coz if you buy a link for a month and then let it go that can do more harm then god in my opinion. So good strong permanent inlinks are the key along with good deeplinks and internal link structure needs to be bot friendly. Regards Smfseo
create sitemap...improve link popularity...it'll be good if you have strong inbound links...links from relevant, quality and trusted sites...
It seems that many people suggested you create a sitemap. This tool may help you: http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/
I agree with the last post - Google is obviously the main one you want to get right but there are other site maps out there. I found this one particularly useful: http://www.rorweb.com/rormap.htm
A sitemap will only help if the internal links AND links to the website are in good order. So SMFSEO is the only one here who understands this issue, as far as I'm concerned.
Sitemaps are indeed the best possible way to teach search engines to index all the pages of the websites. Its the reason why they have been there. So just use it. Abhilash.
