I have recently set up an adult picture only site: http://doubleddreams.com and i havent been very successfull with seo, so what are the other ways(cheap/free) to get traffic to a site like mine?
First thing: To keep the traffic at your site, you need to open the gallery links in a new window. If not the traffic goes to the gallery and may not come back to click on more galleries. To get more traffic you should contact websites that are similar to yours and exchange hardlinks and gallery links. You should have a section on your site where you daily put up links to at least 10 other websites every day. That will send traffic to their site, and that again will make them send traffic back to you... It's all totally free.
Contact some of the adult humor / adult content sites like: beer and shots orsm.net stileproject.com littlemidgets.com and see if they might want to exchange links. These sites are already established and get lots of traffic. Maybe you have something to trade them for a link, such as a DVD of your pictures or videos? Stile has a forum you might be able to get into, its called theforum.com - but be careful of advertising in there, you will be banned. But stileproject is a massive site that gets tons of traffic.
