Best way to get targeted Twitter friends?

I would like to exchange Tweets with people who share my professional and business interests. What is the best way to do this? Thanks!

 

Most people on Twitter like to follow people once they follow them. The best method is type in your target niche and follow 10-20 people and some of them will follow back! Another great way to get followers at all is buy posting hashtags in your tweets.

 

Using Google, hunt those down you want to twit with and see if they use twitter. Done.

 

Search for them using some of these services

There's a few other but that can get you started at least. Just search for users thats in your niche. You can usually find an authority that has a lot of followers and you can follow their followers and maybe get a follow back.

It's important that if you're selling say blue widgets that you don't just start following companies and others that are trying to use twitter to sell something. Odds are those types of followers won't buy anything from you. Target more individual users that have regular names like "Joe Todd" and not "Super Diet Plan" .

Write more article and create a personal blog where it can be link to social media like facebook or twitter. Join groups!

 

Post tweets often using hashtags - if you are in seo niche, use #SEO more often in your tweets.

 

Follow more and more people every day. Many of them will follow you back. Continue to tweet regularly with free information. Don't just tweet links everyday. Give your followers something they want to read. After you have a lot of followers, feel free to re-tweet some of the tweets from other people you are following. If you keep doing this, these people will re-tweet your tweets too, and you will have a lot of people heading to your blog posts to see what you are discussing.

Treat your twitter account similar to an email marketing campaign. Give your followers lots of great free information, and sprinkle in paid offers every few tweets.

 

Using hashtags can be very helpful as well as building backlinks for your twitter account to rank for your keywords.

 

create a good blog and tweets.. then start searching for people on tweeter who has the same niche with you and try following them..

 

Well in my opinion in twitter peoples are trying to just follow you if you follow them ... so this is not going to increase your website popularity ...

but if you have a songs website and have any fun website then twitter gonna help you alot... have fun

 

The easiest way, in my opinion, is to use TweetAdder and search for people using your keywords, then once you follow them, they'll follow you.

I usually used http://www.twellow.com/ in searching my competitors and follows their followers. It also helps, since they will also follow you back.. But then, I'm using Tweet Adder, that's why I can target those unique accounts who will love my products.

 

i just use the twitter search function, basically if i wanted music followers i would type something like "music" "hip hop" "dub" or something similar that relates you'll get thousands to choose from.
