What are some good ways to get quality traffic. I am not willing to spend a ton of money so something cheep would be nice. But I am just looking for a way to get members at our forum. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks so much, Noc
Put your forum link in your DP signature.. submit to social bookmarking sites. find related forums.. join and put your link in that signature.. browse related blogs and leave comments with your link. find facebook groups related to your topic.
The only thing I can think of quality traffic is through google... If people found your site through google while they are searching, that means quality traffic... like this one here..
Social network is the best way to drive fast quality traffic to your site. Summit in popular social network site. and wait to get many traffic.
Also try writing articles and submitting them to the free article directories. It can be time-consuming, but you'll still be getting traffic from those articles years down the line if the information in them is good.
well ... if you can manage to spend some money , pay some good forum posters ... they'll put some interesting posts up the forum ... and that will certinally bring traffic tooo ... Rest you'll have to try out everything , can't rely on just one and expect extra ordinary results ....
Use yahoo answers and answer to closely related questions to your niche. After giving high quality advice link them to another useful article/post on your page/forum. Or post articles to hubpages, ezinearticles, goarticles, squidoo, propeller etc, to just name a few.
I wouldn't call stumbleupon quality traffic because you will get less then 2 pages viewed per a visit because stumblers are like drunks but on the internet. They just look at some thing then keep on stumblin around.
articles and link exchanges would be pretty good for what you are trying to achieve. you can also write a review on iphones too.
If you have money to spend, rather than engaging the service of posters, try consider making it a revenue sharing forum or create your own forum currency to attract members to post there.
Noc, my first counter-question would be, what is quality traffic for you? You have to determine what kind of traffic is what you want and then build your strategy around that. Are you looking for buyers, clickers, opt-ins, signups, etc?
Quality traffic definitely comes from google as most of the people us it and they easily get what they search for.So try improving your search engine status by several SEO techniques already stated in several posts in this forum.
