Best way to get on google after launch

Mmmm interesting thoughts people, some I don't agree with, sites with age will only slide down the ranks because :

A) The site has been indexed and nothing has changed for a while.
B) No more or fresh links have been incoming to the sites or page.
C) Competitors have gained on you and stepped above you because of the above reasons.

You have to keep updating your sites and keep bringing in new links daily, that's why blogs and 2.0 sites are ruling the Search Engines, they're continually updated and gaining new links.

Google will just forget about a stagment page with no activity on it or to it, I guess it looks like old news or an old subject.
