Best way to get on an .edu website?

    I know if you get your site/links on .edu sites your doing well. Buy How? Anyone know of any good forums, sites, etc that are .edu that work well?

    .edu links carry no more weight than any other link. edu links tend to be "trusted sites" so links from any trusted site will carry more weight - however, it really depends on the page. Forums and student pages are not going to carry weight like a normal link from an official page that is linking to you.

    EXACTLY! .edu links are no more valuable than .com or .org or .net links.

    Or any other extension for that matter... they just tend to be trusted more because most edu sites are authority domains.

    There is no point trying to do .edu link building just for the sake of getting .edu links.
