Best way to get more clicks

Does anyone know the best way to get more clicks on your site? Or a better way to earn more money? I want to do this legally too.

Try to use relevant keywords, and attractive ads for PPC advertising. You can also try affiliate programs like widgetbucks, clickbank etc.

 

Just browse the older threads: they contain hundreds of (mostly) excellent tips.

My #1 = Be good friends with Google and Yahoo

 

I can understand Google..but why Yahoo?

 

Create more content, optimise your pages, test them.

 

because yahoo is the oldest search engine
means more older people use it..

i look at yahoo and google in this perspective...

yahoo users are more prone to spending money

as for google users are just a bunch of young people looking for something for free

this is just my opinion but i am pretty sure other people would agree

Try merging your advertisements into the content.
Method 2
And use a script that places the advertisements in different places because othewise readers are just to aware of where the advertisement is and they unconsciously avoid the advertisements.

By using the above mentioned two techniques you are more likely to have them look at the add which will naturally increase the likelyhood of clicks.

 

Yahoo = 20% of my search engine visitors (for my English sites, NOT for my French or other language sites - Yahoo seems to be dead in Europe since years)

 

When you build your adsense ads take advantage of the color options. Try to make the ad links match the same colors as your text. It will look more natural and will likely bring in more clicks. Since I have been doing this my click rate has tripled.

 

Content really is king. You need to know what you're doing with SEO or you'll fall flat on your face. You can also buy traffic for a little surge of activity.

 

This really is one of the basics, although a lot of publishers seem to ignore it. 'Blending' is quiet important.

Tip: whenever you click spontaneously on an Ad (Adsense or other) yourself, return to that page and try to analyse how you were brought to perform that click. Sometimes (very sometimes) interesting!

Create quality content and get your links out there legally. The best conversion usually come from from search engines traffic, but I could be wrong.
