Hi: My name is Isaac and although I've been working for years helping other businesses with their marketing (mainly e-mail marketing, offline marketing, conversion, persuasion, etc.) I'm fairly new to affiliate marketing, especially from the vendor perspective, in fact I finished my first product to sell just some days ago, a marketing plan software. I'm a firm believer in the 80/20 principle, and I'd like to know if there are some vendors here and what has been their best strategy to get more affiliates for their products. I hope to share my experiences along the way about what worked and I want to thank everybody in advance. Best regards. Isaac
Best way to get affiliates are announce the product launch date 3 months prior to your launch. Contact top affiliates and product vendors in the same niche as yours and offer them good commission to join you. Build huge twitter list of followers interested in affiliate marketing or pay someone with huge number of followers to tweet your offer. Build trust among people on forums and promote your launch their. Write an ebook and make it go viral with your product launch date and details about it.
For me related forum participation have been working well so far to get those targeted affiliates.Well I am thinking of writing an ebook also and giving it free and I hope this will help me to get more affiliates.
STEAL Your Competitors Affiliates You can do this by going to their affiliate page and see if they have articles pre-written to promote their product and than what you do next is copy atleast 1-2 sentences and search it in Google. You'll find them just by that
Build a JV network so that when you launch you can hit thousands upon thousands of people within one day. You want your initial blast to be huge so contact the top marketeers- use your existing business contacts - especially if you've been working with email marketers and get them to promote your products. Best of luck to you
