    A lot of directories do allow deep linking now days so that is good. I think a lot of link exchanges allow you to do this also. I know linkmarket does allow this as I use them for some seo.

    If you put a video or article or something, social bookmarking will give you links, and bring alot more traffic. You can also use the video or article on the page to do some link baiting too.
