Simply get dugg or stumbled, honestly though what really matters is not the fact about how fast you got indexed but where exactly do you stand when someone searches for a keyword, your keyword.
As I did is submit to web directories . but it is a very hard works to do it every time you create a new site..
add a site map and upload this via google webmaster tools. Also make sure you have a robots.txt file. Google will then crawl your site more quickly.
It seems to me that the best way to get indexed, in light of the many methods and approaches, is to do everything that is suggested herein and see what works best for you.
If you have a new website with a lot of pages, buy a high pr link for a couple of months. This will give you enough pr to make google believe that your interior pages(2nd and 3rd tier) deserve to be crawled as well. (given the structure of your site is ok)
To get indexed quickly blog comment with the link pointing back to your site. When their blogs get crawled so will yours.

it's a mythical term some ppl like to use. The one true way is to get some high ranking links back to the url asap.. 3 days is pushing it, but I have seen getting indexed in a week to 10 days of purchasing a new URL.
