Sure, just get some links to it. Start with a press release about your new domain, submitted to a number of press release distro sites. Then create some links from social bookmarking sites such as digg or mixx. Next write an article or two on your subject and submit it to sites like ezine. You should be indexed anwhere between a few hours and a few days, depending on how large (how many pages) your new site has.

You can also put your domain link in your signature as DP gets crawled all the time. My domains get indexed rather quickly when I do that.

Have any site with a medium to high PR link to you for about a week and you'll be indexed pretty fast.

The best way to get indexed quickly is to get a few people to stumble on your site. Your site will quickly get some stumbleupon trafffic and this will attract google too.

Well I only believe if you have lots of quality contents in your site, maybe 10 articles to start off with, the search engine bots will come and index by itself.

Of course it's not necessary, but it does help. You can't go around submitting pointless press releases all the time, but the fact that you are launching a new domain and/or website is a great opportunity to release a statement to online press and media sites explaining what you're doing. There is always the chance that a mainstream media outlet might find the story interesting and publish your announcement in the news. Don't get your hopes up, though, because very few releases actually get picked up and written about in actual news articles - they have to be really newsworthy.

But in this case, a press release can help you get indexed very quickly, if you use a few distro channels and they allow links in the release. Most authority press release sites get crawled constantly, and you have a great chance of Google finding your link and indexing your site that way. Your story (and link) can also get picked up and published in Google and Yahoo news. Some tips on press release submission for SEO

My site was quickly listed in the search engines and I would recommend useful posts in forums that allow signature links, submitting it right away to the search engines, and accumulating some backlinks to your site quickly. When a search engines picks up on a backlink, I have found that that immediately can get your site listed. Some people like to wait until they have many backlinks in place, I think that the spider will crawl the site again anyway so the sooner the better.
