Best way to get indexed in search engines

I have 8 sub-domains sites or mini sites, I released in early March, none of them have been indexed yet by Google.

Now some folks told me before that submitting to the engines is a waste of time, a spider will come along and find the new pages, content right away.
It's been since March, and there still not indexed by google.

How long do search engines take before they find you ? What is the best way to get a site, new content, etc noticed by the engines ?

Well, do most of those mini sites have unique content? Easy navigiation? Have a lot of quality backlinks?

If you answered yes to those, then you should be indexed on most of the search engines very soon.

Bluegill, just put a link to the site(s) in your DP signature, and you should be indexed soon. I notice that you're not taking advantage of your four authorized signature links.

    Hi,

The easiest way to get indexed within a day or two is actually simple.

Just search for blogs with at least PR5 where they let you post comments, these blogs not necessary need to be within your field of expertise, place one comment on a recent post in which you place a link to your new site.

100% guarantee your site will be indexed within 48 hours by google or other search engines.

It might take you an hour or two to find such a blog but believe me, there are plenty out there.

Try to get more links to your site, the more the better. For example, exchange link, guest book, sign, .... Then your site will be indexed by Search Egine

    1. Post your website in about 100 or so directories with good PR that are indexed in the SEs.

    2. Post an article in Google Base

    4. Stop posting your website to directories

    3. Get quality and relevant links from other sites to rise in the SERPs. Never stop.

I am usually indexed in 24 hours after posting an original article to Google Base.

you have to get links from already established websites to be able to speed the process.

It does work pretty well, but not as good as it could, you have to be searching for spacific thig to find it, otheswise it ends up in the mid pages of the index It took me about 5-6 weks before i got any visits from spiders, bots or worms

I agree, blogs are not as effective as some people say they are. If you have a decently trafficked site with a good PR, placing a link on it should do the trick.

Stupid question, but have you submitted your URL to Google for crawling? Typically you shouldn't have to do it, but it neverhurts.
