    Some factors that play major role in website ranking...
    -Crawlers looks for web pages carrying keywords in the content, URL, titles etc.
    -Quality of content
    -Quality backlinks ,more votes = high ranking.
    -Relevance of your web page to the user's query
    -Website's social media reputation .

    (1)directory submission
    (2) social bookmarking
    (3)article submission
    (4)forum posting etc
