The best way is to write articles and submit them to EA. They give small no. of links but they are a lot more valuable than 100 low quality links.

Creating quality content is the best and most whitehat way of getting back links to your site. Creating a widget, free script, etc... that have a backlink to your site with your keyword is also another option although it is getting devalued these days, still it's pretty much scalable though.

Tweeting your posts as well as posting on Facebook will also help you, although these links won't pass any juice, Google and Yahoo is now seeing its importance.
